The narrative centers on a poor college student who wins a “luxury RV road trip” in a competition he hardly remembers entering. Equipped with foolish optimism, he extends an invitation to his attractive fiancée Stacy and her three friends, Raven, Chloe, and Luna, anticipating a passionate and exciting summer vacation.
When the “luxury RV” turns out to be a rusting bucket of bolts, the “scenic route” turns into a tour of the most bizarre roadside sights and dive bars in the nation, and our protagonist is repeatedly outwitted by both his own severe anxieties and comically alpha locals, reality sets in.
