Ambition Plot

Hart Lovelace is an overly ambitious secretary.

He curses every analyst, banker, and new person who enters the firm because he is bitter over not living the life he had envisioned. Neither his employer nor anybody else is good. He can’t get anyplace no matter how hard he tries.

Evil Batlet, whose full name is Eveline, is a financial associate. He lives the kind of life Hart hopes he could, smug, content, and completely confident in himself. With a ladder to climb and promotions to anticipate, evil has a bright future.

Thus, Hart sees his opportunity when Evil comes to him with a vague proposal.

They’ll find out if he pulls himself up or drags Evil down.
